Jakub Jerzyniak, CSSW
Jakub is a subject matter expert in all things waterproofing. He has over 15 years of industry experience in a variety of consulting, training services and hands-on roles. His career has allowed him to work across a variety of waterproofing sectors in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, China, Poland, England and the United States. Jakub’s sound advice and in-depth technical skills allow him to be a trusted advisor.
Jakub is a Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) and holds a Canadian Certificate of Qualification in the occupation of Roofer, Damp, and Waterproofer (RSE), as well as an Australian Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing. He is also a certified Soprema Advanced Techniques installer, an approved Soprema Inspector, and an Accredited Green Roof Professional (GRP). As a specialist in flat roofing systems, he has completed numerous roofing and waterproofing projects using modified bitumen membranes and has extensive experience with single-ply membranes (EPDM, TPO, PVC). His tenure as a roofer in service departments over the last decade has allowed him to seek creative professional solutions for often problematic roof leaks.
Over the past 5 years, Jakub has trained close to 100 contractors on the installation of waterproofing membranes in Australia, New Zealand and China. His expertise has helped fine-tune various application techniques and has improved the efficiency of numerous applicators. Jakub was a trainer for National China Waterproofing Association in 2018 and 2019.
Renée Jerzyniak

With a passion for people and service, Renée is highly effective in managing and enhancing the client experience. Over the course of her almost 25-year career, Renée has worked in a variety of customer service and training specialist capacities in Australia, Canada and the UK. Her personality and esteemed leadership style have allowed her to form personal and professional relationships that have endured throughout her career and across global borders.
Born and raised in Australia, Renée is most at home living on the Gold Coast. A traveller at heart, Renée spent nearly seven years living and working in Vancouver, Canada. She also met Jakub, her future husband and business partner there. After a few years and a longing to return home to family, Renée convinced Jakub to return to the Gold Coast with her. They settled in Nobby Beach, married and brought their beloved daughter into the world.
In 2021, Renée and Jakub made realising their dream of starting their own company a priority. Renée has long recognized Jakub’s expertise and passion for waterproofing, so the progression to business ownership was a natural one. Renée is committed to fostering the human side of business operations, supporting clients throughout the process, and most importantly supporting Jakub and their family.
